Moving at a comfortable distance from the lava, Kit looked over all the colors they held. "Beautiful in its own right."
she said. "Splendid Kit, we are here for the balance of the world and you admire the thing in your way." said Sister
Wind sarcastically. "We well should admire our foes living or none, and she the best of them. No matter what, I
would rather see the good in someone trying to kill me and let them live than kill them. To see beauty, to find
grace, it's part of who I am." "Too bad the lava isn't the same."

Kit gave a nod and looked at the lay of the land. The field seemed endless with a volcano at its end. Boulders were
here and there and some lava was beginning to harden then melt once more. "If I can't fly can I still use wind?" Kit
asked with a tilt of her head. "Yes you may, you just must not overuse it." "Good I have a plan. If it works I should
make it unharmed." "And if it doesn't?" Kit found a stone and pushed it into the lava with her nose. It bubbled as
the lava gave a hiss from the temperature change before the rock became molten.

"That but with fur, flesh, blood bones, organs and all that. Oh and probably with screaming." Sister Wind gave a
sigh. "Well maybe Lady Fire will take pity on you and not let that happen. But just in case, you can turn back now
if you like?" Kit gave a firm shake of her head. "Not now, not ever. I made up my mind and I will not change it.
Now, care to know of my plan?" "Yes so I can tell you how foolish it is." Kit couldn't help but smile as she thought
her plan.

"Ok ready?" she asked. "Now!" At Kit's guidance with the aid of her own wind, Sister Wind was lead to lift up lava
in the air and circulate all around it as fast as she could, cooling it. A bridge was made but it slowly began to
change from a solid brown to a sort of red. "Don't stop or the lava will take it again." said Kit. Sister Wind gave an
unspoken yes and the wind continued to move around the rock.

Kit placed a paw over the bridge but stopped as she felt heat. "Sorry Kit, I can only cool it so much." thought Sister
Wind. "That's fine, just keep it stable." said Kit calling some wind of her own around her paws. It made a sort of
boot, just enough to keep her from getting burned. As she stood on the bridge, the symbol on her paws started to
glow. "Sister?" she asked. "Brother Earth is impressed to see you use the element you have just met to go to the
next. Though this earth he shall rearward you. Though without one who has his skill he is week in this land. It is
not much but watch."

Every time Kit took a step, the earth right beneath her paws hardened, and as she moved each paw softened once
more. "Cool." said Kit with a smirk as she moved running at an easy trot. Though the closer she got to the volcano,
the softer the earth became. Soon the only thing under her paws was the wind and prolonged time made her paws
begin to burn. As much as her mind told her to run, she fell back to a slow pace, the slower she moved the less she
disturbed the rock and the less likely she was to get burnt.

"Let me guess, the father away we get, the less he can do?" asked Kit. "Yep. He sends an apology." "It's not his
fault, I thank him for all he has done." Soon she was very gratefully off the bridge and at the volcano. Lava ran
down it in serpentine paths and Kit had to carefully make her way to the top. The rock was smooth due to all the
eruptions melting away any jagged rock. Finally she reached the mouth, a bubbling pool of lava.

"Kit," came a soft but strong voice. "you were smart to use that of the man you have just met but now it is time to
think only of fire. Prove yourself to me, and to fire, though your fear aside and with no wind or earth walk to the
center of the pool." "What will you do?" asked Sister Wind"Trust her as I do you." said Kit with no fear or second
thought. Without hesitation, she took a step forward.
